SMP Assertion failed

Hi,

I'm running TRU64 v5.1A with no patches installed. After configuring
the system as an NFS server and mounting the share, I began to copy a
large number of files using tar... Almost immediately the system panic'd
with the message 'SMP Assertion failed'.

I've tried booting serveral times and it seems that each time I boot into
multi user mode the box panics again.

Printer service started Collecting data from crash dumps in
/var/adm/crash/crash-data.2 ADVFS EXCEPTION Module =
../../../../src/kernel/msfs/bs/bs_qio.c, Line = 4651 SMP Assertion failed
panic (cpu 0): SMP Assertion failed
syncing disks... 33 done

I've tried a few things like disabling advfsd and running verify on the
domains but I'm finding no issues. bcheckrc mounts all file systems and I
can copy files to and from. I've even tried clearing the core from single
user mode before going multi, but it doesn't help.

Anyone have any ideas?

Regards,
Rob.
