Problem using Tru64 4.0g pk3 with Oracle 8.0.6.3

Hi!!

We are running Oracle 8.0.6.3 in two ES40 with Tru64 4.0g PK3 and we noticed some performance problems.

For example when we try to create a datafile with 1Gb it takes about 1 hour. This is not usual.

I other system running the same Oracle DB version but with Tru64 PK1 it runs well.
Does anybody know anything about this problem?

In the same system (with Tr64 4.0G PK3 ) if we try to create or restore a backup as root, everything works fine.

There is some problem or incompatibility between Oracle 8.0.6.3 and Tru64 4.0G PK3 ?!

We have already reported this problem to Compaq (local support - Portugal)
