Hi,
We have a 4100 4.0E running a network speed of 100 half-duplex. I wanted to
go to 100 full so I issued:
ifconfig tu0 down
ifconfig tu0 speed 200 up
which seems to have worked fine. The network folks put the port to 100 full
and it seems ok. However I have 2 questions:
1) how do I check what it is running at and that it is working ok?
'ifconfig -a' doesn't seem to provide enough information
2) how do I configure it so that when the machine is rebooted it will stay
at 100FDX?
Thanks!
Andy
p.s. -- the entry in /var/adm/messages from the last it was booted had this
for the nic:
tu0: console mode: selecting 10BaseT (UTP) port: half duplex
which actually looks like to was booted to run at 10 mbps and not 100. Is
that right?
