Not seeing CDROM device

Hi Managers

I have a DEC ALpha 2100 v5.3 Firmware running v4.0f Tru 64 unix.

I am in Single user mode right now and when I do a

show dev

I do not see the CDROM device listed.
I need to boot off the CDROM to update the firware and later reinstall UNIX.


Can anyone please help?
