Your files and programs have been moved, but does it feel like home yet?  Time to do some arranging. Windows has so many customization features, you've probably forgotten what you did to make your old computer look and work the way you wanted.

Unfortunately, there is no magic solution for transferring these settings.  You will have to make some changes by hand, such as setting up your favorite desktop background, shortcuts, taskbar arrangement, and other file and folder features on your new computer.

The easiest way to get started is to click the Start menu on your old computer, and then click Settings. Review each item on the menu and decide if you want to use the same settings on your new computer.

Saying good-bye
When the boxes have been moved, the old place has been cleaned up, and the lights are off, take one last look at your old computer and then admire it as your new doorstop.

Gayle Picken is rumored to have a great deal if you are looking for a used computer.
