Here are a few of our favorite sites. We will be adding more of these from time to time.

• Publish Magazine - A fine magazine and one of the best places to find honest reviews of Macintosh and Windows publishing software and hardware.
• Adobe Magazine is free both online and in print. If you use Adobe products, you need to subscribe just for the tutorials. The typography and layout are high quality.
• Macworld Magazine - This is still the best resource for all things Mac.
• Peachpit Press - These folks publish some of the best mind-expanders around including the Illustrator and Photoshop Wow! books.

• Adobe Systems, Inc. - We have all of the Adobe fonts on the FontFolio8 CD-ROM. You won't need to send us font files if you stick with Adobe fonts. You can view and buy fonts on the Web or with the Type On Call CD-ROM.
• Bitstream, Inc. - These folks sell some of the best Type 1 fonts. Like Adobe, they offer fonts on the Internet and CD.
• Monotype Typography is another big Type 1 font vendor. They also offer Web font viewing and purchasing.

• Adobe Systems, Inc. - Lots of great cross-platform software - Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker, FrameMaker, Acrobat and ATM to name a few.
• Macromedia, Inc. builds the outstanding FreeHand. It doesn't get much better than this.
• Corel Corporation makes the most-used graphics software for the PC platform - CorelDRAW! CorelDRAW! also runs on the Mac.
• Microsoft Corporation - These people need no introduction. Microsoft Word is the first thing that pops into your mind (admit it) when someone mentions "word processing."
• Quark, Inc. - QuarkXPress, the most used and the most enhanced page layout program. It even runs on Alpha NT.

• Aladdin Systems, Inc. - Stuffit is the premiere compression and archiving software for the Macintosh.
• Nico Mak Computing, Inc. - I'll bet you didn't know who manufactures WinZip.
• PKWARE, Inc. created and support the original PKZIP.

• Dartmouth College - The Dartmouth Computing Department is resposible for the best FTP client software for the Mac - Fetch. You can't find a more useful or polished piece of software for the money.

• Apple Computer, Inc. - Still the platform of choice for publishing professionals.
• Compaq Computer Corporation - A shameless plug for our new pals.
