CAS Solution:

Parts Exchange Contract (Compaq-branded)

Description:

COMPAQ Parts Exchange Contract (C-PEC) is an off-site hardware support program for Self-Maintenance Customers that have invested in the people and infrastructure necessary to provide effective self-support on eligible ProSignia and ProLiant Servers. C-PEC delivers unlimited Advanced Exchange Service for eligible Equipment covered by the C-PEC Agreement. In addition, accounts are provided with a direct relationship with COMPAQ for the purchase of parts, exchange replacement of defective parts for other devices not listed on the Agreement, and provides labor reimbursement for in-warranty repair for COMPAQ-Branded Intel Processor-based Equipment.

  • Sales Information Sheet: There is one sheet that covers the 3 Compaq-branded added-value self-maintenance solutions (Hardware Backup Support, Parts Exchange Contract, and Critical Care Partnership.)

Service Description                                 

Terms and Conditions Standard NA Customer Services T&Cs apply, and are included in the application kit below.

Pricing: Term pricing is a percentage of reference price (BMC.) Applicable event prices and discounts are described in the Service Description & the EAS/PAS price & supported products list.

Application Kit or Forms: There is one application kit for all the Compaq branded self maintenance programs (Self Maintainer, CCP, HBS, & PEC)

Welcome Kit:

  • At the time of authorization, new Self Maintainers are sent some standard Q's&A's and a copy of the Self Maintainer How to Do Business With Compaq Customer Service Book. A Sales Order is entered for the Tools & Information Kit.

TOOLS & INFORMATION KIT : Includes all the deliverables that are sent to Self Maintainers throughout the year. It includes their annual subscription to QuickFind (which is delivered monthly), the QRG's (quarterly), Advisories/Bulletins (as needed), Product Announcements (as needed), and the Self Maintainer Welcome Kit.

SELF MAINTAINER WELCOME KIT

Contains:

  • Welcome Letter

  • Latest version of the QRG

  • Parts Exchange/Warranty Reimbursement Form

  • Compaq System Confirguration Utility Diskettes

  • Server Diagnostics Diskette

  • Compaq Setup for Workstations Diskette

  •   Personal Computer Diagnostics Diskette

  • Computer Setup Diskettes

  • Program License Agreement for above diskettes

  • Self Maintainer How to do Business with Compaq Customer Service book.
