CAS Solutions

Compaq Assisted Services (CAS)

We create solutions for both Authorized Service Provider partners and for Enterprise Self-maintainer partners. Our solutions include the supply of spare parts, maintenance documentation, and access to technical service professionals for assistance in maintaining the IT environment.

Our solutions are designed for specific markets. On the solutions table below, markets are indicated to give you a shortcut to understanding eligibility requirements:

  • EAS (enterprise, or end-user self-maintainers)
  • PAS ("partners," meaning channels, resellers, etc)

Some solutions are specific to heritage platforms, pending future integration. These are also indicated in the solutions table below.

Customers receive unlimited parts exchanges and hardware telephone support on a contract basis. EAS

Hardware Backup Support Compaq  Unlimited access to Level 2 information resources; 4 or 2 hr onsite backup EAS
Critical Care Partnership (Digital)  Digital Compaqs most comprehensive support program, designed for customers who maintain business-critical application environments in which there is very little tolerance for system downtime. Customers receive extensive technical services, unlimited parts exchanges, the highest discount on parts, and hardware telephone support on a contract basis. Customers are also eligible to purchase Recover-All Service. EAS
CCP Parts Exchange  Digital Unlimited advanced exchange parts contract EAS
CCP Technical Support  Digital Unlimited access to Level 2 information resources; 4 or 2 hr onsite backup EAS
Material Support  Digital Designed for customers who need access to basic Parts and Parts Exchange services, but rarely require other support services. It includes attractive discounts and prepaid freight for new and exchanged parts. EAS
Shared Maintenance  Digital  Designed for customers who operate a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or Help Desk and need technical support services in addition to basic Parts and Parts Exchange. Cost efficiency is of primary importance to these customers so Shared Maintenance provides technical support on a per-event basis. It also offers higher discounts on Parts and per event Parts Exchange services EAS

Authorized Campus Service Provider (ACSP) Compaq Digital The Authorized Campus Service Provider (ACSP) Program is designed for Compaq Campus Resellers (CCRs) that have service delivery capabilities to perform warranty and remedial maintenance services on Compaq commercial desktop and portable products.
