X Display failure

Hello All,

I'm having problem with CDE *and* Xdm on an Alpha 2000 axp machine. I just
installed DU 4.0B and the patches on it and when I run it, I get this
error message in the Xerror file:

 BLT engine hung in pwgaResetBlt GLOBALWAIT; resetting...

I get the same message with CDE and Xdm configured. My card appears to be a
regular VGA QVision from DEC.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
