Hello all,

DEC 3000 - M900 running TRU64 ver. 4.0e (Patchkit #3)

Well, I downloaded the updated std_kern.mod patch yesterday afternoon and
tried to patch my system again last night... While the file now read as
the correct OS version "std_kern.mod_40e_bl13.gz" I still was unable to
successfully build a kernel with this patch applied. After untaring and
gzip -d on the file I had this:

std_kern.mod - file size of "1202448" ...

I don't know what the particular problem is... The checksum for the
updated patch checks out... Has anyone been able to successfully deploy
the origional or updated patch? I really need to have accounting running
on this server (it is our main student e-mail server and thus has well
over 7,000+ shell accounts that are open to the world!)...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
