who both suggested installing Open3D. In the meantime the target
shifted and the video card became a 4D50T and I decided to take the
plunge, upgrade my 4.0D to 4.0F with PK#1 which I had handy and Open3D
4.93. It basically works out of the box by simply rebuilding the
kernel and rebooting.
I mentioned using an LCD (IBM 9516) with this card and I would like to
report that it works prefectly out of the box with the 4D50T without
needing any configuration tweaks. Evidently expensive cards like
expensive monitors :-)
