DU on DS20 - HDD config; swap space

Hi Gentlemen,

2 issues:

     I have 7 x 36GB HDDs in my DS20 and the CD-ROM takes the 5th SCSI
address from the SCSI bus. Is there a quick fix? This controller can
handle 15 devices. I don't really want to down the system and make a
hardware change like jumpers on the back of the CD if possible (I fear this
is the solution).

     I would really like to see some good examples of other DU systems
sysconfigtab; fstab; and swapspace settings. We easily use between 4 and 8
GB of swap during each days compiles while both processors are running.
Seems as if about 12GB is good for safety on our systems but what is the
correct way to set proc: per-proc-stack-size; per-proc-address-space;
max-per-proc-address-space; with regard to vm: vm-maxvas? I read the best
practices and saw the examples at digitals site and it appears that all
these settings reflect the same number which is the vm total. Is that
right?

Best regards,

Dane
