People,

RCS Question.

We have a large tree of files, which some minor changes need to be removed
of no longer required files.

The sample RCS tree:
# ls
.primary 12 16 24 29 33 37 43
.sxx 13 17 26 30 34 38 RCS
1 14 18 27 31 35 39
11 15 23 28 32 36 42
# ls -Ral RCS
total 5
drwxrwx--- 2 nobody users 512 Jun 30 19:32 .
drwxrwx--- 30 nobody users 512 Jun 30 19:32 ..
-r--r----- 1 nobody users 257 Mar 21 11:04 .primary,v
-r--r----- 1 nobody users 1747 Jun 30 19:32 .sxx,v
#
Now what I would like to achieve is to remove the .sxx file, but leave the
history in RCS. Is it possible to mark this file as no longer used so that
it can not be checked out again from RCS? Then I can simply delete the .sxx
file, and wory about it no more.

Thanks in advance, I will summarise.
