Hello,

We have a DEC Alpha 4100 running UNIX 4.0D. The system crashed about 4
times in the last three days. I see the following error in the messages
file:

Jun 16 09:15:41 sydney vmunix: panic (cpu 2): receive 1
Jun 16 09:15:41 sydney vmunix: syncing disks... device string for dump =
RAID 1
2 0 0 4 0 0.
Jun 16 09:15:41 sydney vmunix: DUMP.prom: dev RAID 1 2 0 0 4 0 0, block

Jun 16 09:15:41 sydney vmunix: device string for dump = RAID 1 2 0 0 4 0 0.
Jun 16 09:15:41 sydney vmunix: DUMP.prom: dev RAID 1 2 0 0 4 0 0, block
400000
Jun 16 09:15:41 sydney vmunix: Alpha boot: available memory from 0x11d4000
to 0x
1fffc000

One of the developers is running queries on the database when this happens.
Is this related to bad memory or disk?

Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks
