Hello,
We've had problems with the DE500 network cards in DS20's and ES40's. The
system will lose network connectivity. The system will not show any data
errors though.
If you remove the ethernet cable from the DE500 jack and plug it back in
you regain network connectivity.
We've called Compaq about this issue and the said it was a CISCO problem.
The local LAN team says that it is a system problem, (traditional finger
pointing).
All connections seem to be connected to one of several CISCO 6500.
The problem doesn't occur very often, it seems to happen about
once-a-month.
Has anyone seen this problem or something similar?
