Tru64 4.0G and old workstation

We have an old workstation DEC 2000 AXP and cannot
install 4.0G on it - is the box too old, or is it
really the CAM SCSI (media) errors?

We tried the CD on a text only 433au box and it flew
right on without a glitch.
