The environment is two 8200s running v4.0f and ASE v1.6 at patch level 2.
We have 4 services defined in the ASE environment. Three are disk services
with Oracle start/stop scripts, and 1 is an NFS service. These servers run
Oracle as their major emphasis. All was running/failing over/behaving well
until we upgraded to Oracle 8.1.6. Then ASE, more specifically our
start/stop scripts started behaving badly. What is my best way to
troubleshoot this?
