SUMMARY: Cant obtain database information

Well finally fixed the problem. I read in the /etc/auth/ttys.db file from
backup and everything is now working again. I guess the file was somehow
corrupted. Thanks to all who responded especially Denise Dumas and Elin
Vaeth.
