Ready (April 1999)
Discontinued on 28 February 2002 along with the 3.2 Enhancement Pack (ref).
Probably the same as NetWare 3.12
Patches and notes about Netware 3.2.
This is the final release of Netware 3.x. It mostly just a minor update to v3.12 that delivers all patches released up to that point, updated drivers and a new GUI version of SYSCON (which is actually just a shareware utility Novell has licensed and bundled).
It was supplied as v3.12 plus the 3.2 Enhancement Pack CD-ROM and once installed the server still reports its version as v3.12. Apparently the only sign that a server has been upgraded to v3.2 is the list of installed patches and "32ENH 1.0 NetWare 3.2 Enhancement Pack" appearing in the product options section of the install NLM. So pretty much its just a paid-for service pack.
Because of how minor the 3.2 update is, all of the documentation and other information (aside from the patch list) for v3.12 still applies. So see the NetWare 3.12 page for more information.
Just like NetWare 3.12 it runs just fine in KVM/QEMU! To see the full install process in an absurd number of screenshots, see the Installing NetWare 3.12 in KVM page followed by the Installing the NetWare 3.2 Enhancement Pack page.
These are the minimum patches Novell recommends applying as a baseline (as of 4 December 2000). Its probably best to apply them in order starting with the oldest.

These were the other patches up on the Novell support site on 13 November 2006 (and so not necessarily considered obsolete). You may wish to browse the readme files to see if there are any worth applying. Some of the later ones certainly will be more recent than whats on the minimum patch list above.

I'm not a netware expert, don't have any of those fancy novell certifications and have never administred a netware network; I've just played with it at home occasionally since 2004 or so. Email me if you've got any suggestions or corrections for this page or any extra information you think is worth including here. My address is david at this websites domain name (without the www bit of course).
