Create a link to a Web page in a Word document
If you're creating a Microsoft Word document, you can create a link to a Web page or other HTML document rather than just including the address in text. Here's how:
- Copy the address (URL) to which you want to link.
- Select the word, phrase, or sentence in your document that you want to create as the link.
- On the Insert menu in Word, click Hyperlink.
- In Type the file or Web page name, paste the address by pressing CTRL+V.
