     General Information

    Introduction

Most computers in this world have a small battery that is used for keeping vital information while the computer is tunred off. This information includes the boot-environment, and the time. As with most batteries, they also have only a limited lifetime, and problems are preprogrammed when the battery dies. With SGI Indigos its just the same. But fortunately you can simply exchange the battery.
